Brady Moffett

Low Brass Tech

Brady Moffett is a graduate student and teaching assistant at the University of South Carolina pursuing a master's degree in music education after previously receiving his bachelor of music degree in music education from the same institution. In his time at USC, Mr. Moffett has performed on low brass instruments with numerous concert, marching, and chamber ensembles and studied the euphonium with Dr. Ronald Davis.

Before his enrollment in graduate school, Mr. Moffett served as a general music and choir teacher at Devonshire Elementary School in Charlotte, NC and the band director for Latta Middle School and Latta High School in Latta, SC. Under Mr. Moffett's direction, the Latta band program grew from less than 30 members to more than 200. The bands received excellent and superior ratings at contests, including the school's first ever superior with distinction rating in the SCBDA concert performance assessment.

Mr. Moffett currently instructs brass and writes drill for several schools in South Carolina and North Carolina while finishing his graduate degree.
