Born in Atlanta, Ga in 1995, Clinton lived with his parents Parisia and Clinton Patton Jr. up until moving to Pineville, NC where he attended Community House Middle School. He later moved to Sumter, SC in 2009 to start High School at Sumter High. He participated in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Indoor Percussion, and Wind Ensemble fall 4 years as a Trombonist, Marching Baritone, and Bass Drum. He served as Section Leader and Band Captain for his Junior and Senior Year. He auditioned for and received scholarship for Coastal Surge Drum & Bugle Corps in their inaugural 2013 Season as a Featured Soloist on Baritone. He attended Coastal Carolina University in 2013 and participated in Marching Band (Drum Major 2017), Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Various Small Ensembles and acquired his bachelors degree in Music. Throughout his time in Myrtle Beach, he has worked with various marching and music programs in Horry County. He also started “The Symphony Orchestra Project” in 2023 that showcases a full Symphony Orchestra made up of Horry County Students.
