Kevin Hebert

Mr. Hebert's distinguished career spans over two decades, fostering award-winning ensembles at River Bluff High School (since 2019), Chapin High School (2010-2019), and Bristol Tennessee High School (2002-2010). His ensembles consistently achieve superior ratings, state and regional championships, and many accolades, a testament to his exceptional leadership. His dedication extends beyond the classroom, earning him recognition as one of "America's 50 Band Directors that Make a difference" in both Tennessee and South Carolina. He further received Teacher of the Year honors at both Chapin High School (2015) and Lexington/Richland School District 5 (2015).

 

Mr. Hebert's passion for music transcends the academic realm. He is a proud alumnus of the World Champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (2000). This experience translates into his active participation with the Palmetto Concert Band, Carolina Wind Symphony, and the South Carolina Brass Band, showcasing his enduring commitment to the performing arts.

 

Mr. Hebert is a member of the South Carolina Band Director’s Association, The National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, American School Band Directors Association, Phi Beta Mu, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

 

For the past 20 years, Mr. Hebert has honed his expertise by crafting impactful drill designs for marching bands, winter guards, and indoor percussion and wind groups across the country. His designs are renowned for being both effective and achievable, empowering ensembles to reach their full potential.
